Autumn 1:

Our topic this half term has been “ All About Me” We have been learning about our new peers, new staff and all about our bodies and senses.

We have had lots of different sensory art activities on offer and the children have had the opportunity to decorate biscuits, taste different fruits and vegetables and made their own sandwiches during our cookery sessions.

Explorer 2 have again enjoyed weekly sessions at forest school exploring mud, water and extending their gross motor skills on balancing equipment.

We have had lots of fun in weekly music sessions and particularly enjoyed parachute fun. All children have engaged in weekly attention autism sessions and even moved on to stage 2.

All children have had weekly rebound therapy or OT sessions to support physical development and self regulation.
