Oak

Welcome to Oak Class. We are a Key Stage  one class in the pre-formal pathway. 

Our teacher is Vicky, our support staff are Jess, Hannah and Pam.  We learn through play, exploration, continuous provision and Attention Autism. We love exploring outdoors during our weekly session of Learning Outside The Classroom. 

This half term our focus has been,  All about Me and Helping me. We have used various applications to explore this topic, including creating our own class oak tree, exploring ourselves and how we look, the different senses and how to look after ourselves. 

 English is linked to our topic and books include Funny Face, Body Parts and YumYum. We are developing our listening and attention skills whilst also working on our early reading and writing. 

Our math's have focused on routines and day and night under the topic of Time. We enjoyed the book Night monkey Day monkey and have been practicing our Now And Next routines.

• PE is on a Monday 

• Lotc is on a Monday so please send in labelled spare clothes and suitable footwear.
